A day at Pickle Bumps
10.00 AM: WELCOME TIME
We welcome our children to start the day. You and your child will arrive through our secure and monitored entrances, to be greeted by the friendly and familiar pre-school team and your child’s very own key person.
10.15 AM: SETTLING TIME
Your child will join others in their classroom. From the daycare room right through to our pre-school classroom, each area has its own distinctive look and feel, to reflect every stage of development. It will become a place your child will love, with endless resources and a variety of stimulating activities developed by our team to support their development.
10.30 AM: CIRCLE TIME
Circle time is when our children sit on the floor or in flexible seating and participate in a group activity that is led by the main teacher. It is time to connect with their classmates. Circle time activities are a great opportunity for teachers to introduce new concepts to their students.
11.00 AM: SNACK TIME
Snack time are a great opportunity to introduce children to different flavors and textures. It boosts a toddler’s energy. Our snack times are well prepared within the premises and consist of a selection of fresh fruit , toast, pancakes or other baked goods.
11.15AM: Montessori Based Learning
Our Montessori Curriculum offers children five key areas of study: Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language, and Culture.
Each learning area is made up of a set of Montessori materials, that each teach one key knowledge area or skill. Through repetition and practice, children develop a foundational understanding of each material, and master the core competencies within each curriculum area.
11.45AM: STORY TIME
We read book to the children. It helps develop their concentration, social skills, communication skills, and encourages their imagination and creativity
12.00 PM: INDOOR PLAY TIME
Our indoor spaces are designed to ensure your child’s time with us will be one of delight and wonder. Each area has its own nurturing atmosphere with environments thoughtfully planned and equipped with the best resources to meet and exceed the needs of all of our children through exciting activities every day.
12.30PM: LUNCH TIME
Lunch is a time to enjoy a freshly-prepared and balanced meal prepared by our chefs on site. There’s a healthy and varied menu every day, and we encourage children to discover different tastes and textures, try different food and enjoy the experience of sharing a sociable meal with others.
1.00PM: NAP TIME
For nap times, our environments are transformed in to cosy, snuggly areas where babies and children can get the sleep and rest they require for their own personal and developmental needs.
1.15 PM: OUTDOOR PLAYTIME
Our outdoor areas offer the space for your child to explore and take risks with the support of our team. Outdoor play encourages natural curiosity and allows children to develop their gross motor skills while benefiting from healthy fresh air.
2.00PM: HOME TIME

Pickle Bumps holds a very special place in our hearts! Naina was just 15 months when she joined, and the care and love given to her leaves me speechless. So much attention is given to all activities- art and craft, reading, social skills, rhymes, music, dancing - the children pick up so many skills in such a nice gradual way. We've always been informed of any mood changes with Naina, and her habits, the teachers and admin give such personal attention to the children. The school has played a big role in her development and has taught her so much in the warmest atmosphere. She's been jumping every morning waiting to go learn and meet her friends!
